"Do not lie, and do not do what you despise" J of N

On Friday, in Austin, texas, the public school books were altered
to remove any mention of contraceptives, teaching only abstinence, and
defining marriage as between a man and a woman by changing the words
"partners" to "husband and wives."

While the second change is
only annoying the first is just appalling. What do they think will
happen? Kids will only read about abstinence so they won't have sex??
How stupid can these board members be? Only 1 out of the 14 voted
against the books.

This is only the first, insignificant
revision. Sadly, not only science but education looks to be in danger
over the next 4 years as well. The people of the south have sealed
their own fate: they'll be getting dumber and dumber as time goes by.
Why? So they can vote republican in 4 years again, of course!
